Meet the Kid's Connection directors!

Hi, my name is Luke! As the site director of the Kids' Connection childcare center and the director of the Park Ridge Community Church children's ministry, I have been so blessed to be able to use my teaching certification and passion for kids to serve the young families in our community for the last three years. Whether it's singing, storytelling, playing, or anything in between, I believe that showing genuine care for people and a real enthusiasm for life can go a long way in bringing joy, comfort, and a sense of value to young lives.

Hi, my name is Melody! I've loved working with kids since I was a middle school volunteer. I love it so much that I went back to my summer job with Kids' Connection after I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree. I've been working steadily with KC since 2019 and I'm excited to be one of the program directors working to make it run smoothly. I'm here to create a safe space for kids to be kids playing, exploring, and connecting with other kids I'm blessed to work with a church where loving and serving the kids in our community is part of following Jesus.

What is it?
Students are picked up from school and brought to the Stage at The Ridge Activity Center where they participate in a fun, high-energy program with games, physical and mental challenges, prizes, singing, dancing, skits, and lots of life lesson teachings along the way.
Our team of qualified educators, local youth, and community volunteers provides a safe and fun environment for kids to run, laugh, and feel loved.

Transportation from schools is provided! *only for students who attend Canyon Creek, Fernwood, and Ruby Bridges elementary schools
